In using Public Transport, people expect it to be accessible and reliable. Besides well condition of a vehicle or carriage, a good Public Transport must be efficient and effective especially arrival and departure time. From that it will gain trust from people in using public transport . Therefore the usage of Electronic Time Table could ease the Public Transport passengers to plan their journey.
An example of Public Transport system that implement the Electronic Time Table is in Stuttgart Germany and it is called VVS. The users can upload the application of the VVS in their smartphones. The time table is up to date and other information also being provided such as route, ticket price and suggestion to choose the transport that can be use to go to a certain place. Furthermore it is integrated with bus, train and tram schedule. As I have been experienced in using the VVS application when I went for Student Exchange Programme in Stuttgart , in my opinion it is practical and reliable to depend with it. In future Malaysia should implement this kind of system in order to encourage people to use the Public Transport.
