Every country in the world has their own public transport system. To those who do not own private vehicles , public transports are very important in their daily lives to reach them to their end destinations. Furthermore through public transport system , it gives perception to the development of the country and their modernization. People always expect reliable, efficiency and safety in public transport system.
One of the system that being create in order to ease the passengers journey, is through the Bus Real Time Information System. This system helps passengers to know when is their bus is going to arrive at the bus stops.This may reduce frustration among bus passengers to wait for a long time.

How does it work?
All buses are equipped with computers on board, GPS navigation systems and radio, which allows drivers to report their location to a central computer. Then the central computer will assist to make the estimation how long the bus will reach to each bus stops ahead. Below picture shows the cycle flow how the bus real time information being transmitted. Nowadays through smart phone , people can download the application.

It makes my life easy as a student abroad , going anywhere without hassle and bustle. Thus in my opinion, Malaysia Public Transport System should implement this system, as it is one way to encourage the society to choose public trasnport as well as to reduce traffic congestions.
